You will find editorial improvements throughout the entire edition. For instance, we discovered a new type variation of the 1964 Liechtenstein Europa issue. In addition to the formerly identified missing colour variation, an imperforate type variation of this stamp has now also been catalogued. Regarding Austrian issues, we can now differentiate between two printing colours on the 2005 Karajan stamp for the first time. Collectors of Austrian coil stamps will also find new information about the serial numbers which are printed on the reverse side of the carrier foil. Concerning Swiss postal issues, we were able to determine and supplement the numbers of issues printed in 2023.
Another focal point was on the reviewing and updating of price quotations. The overall price levels have remained stable and the issues have retained their value. Some stamps from Liechtenstein have undergone price adjustments, while a few top-value stamps from Austria have seen slight decreases in value.
This edition contains all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 2/2026.
