product description

Russia and Soviet Union 2025/2026 (E 16) E-book

Content:

Russia (including city postage stamps, civil war mail, RSFSR, Russian Federation and foreign mail), Soviet Union.

Description: You will find our editorial improvements throughout the entire edition. Regarding the Soviet Union, we present collectors with five new perforation variations. In addition we have added notes that indicate the date of withdrawal from circulation for over 2,200 MICHEL numbers. This enables readers to see directly when each issue was a valid postage stamp. Let’s move from the past to the present now: 215 new main numbers await collectors of novelties issued by the Russian Federation. Again everything is included – from exciting sports to traditional churches.

An additional focus was on the reviewing and updating of price quotations. A few price increases can be found among issues from the Russian Empire and the RSFSR. An official stamp from the year of 1922 is particularly noteworthy as its appraisal, which is already in the five-figure range, still continues to rise. Collectors of the Soviet Union collection area are bound to notice an increase in demand for cancelled stamps from 1923 to 1960 as well as for type variations. Expensive issues from the Russian Federation are currently seeing a decrease in value; particularly limited-edition stamp booklets and sheetlets are taking a beating – perhaps this is a good opportunity to fill gaps in your own collection.

This volume contains all novelties presented in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 10/2025.
