The whole edition has undergone editorial improvements. Collectors of stamps from Malta will now be able to find the respective expiration dates for issues from 1914 to 2006. Regarding issues from Gibraltar, from now on the withdrawal of shilling stamps from circulation will be documented, starting with this edition. Furthermore you will find additions to sheet formats and numbers of issue for the collection areas of Gibraltar and Turkey. And we are delighted to present the “missing gold colour” type variation on a Maltese postage stamp issued in 1973.
Another focal point was to review and update all price quotations. We were able to note some significant price increases, particularly for Turkish issues starting with the year of 2010. New issues from Turkish Cyprus are also showing positive price developments. Plus there is an uptrend for type variations issued by Malta in the 1960s and 1970s.
This volume contains all novelties listed in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 6/2025.
