Regarding the collection areas of Finland and Estonia, we carefully reviewed all headings and captions and adapted them to the latest research findings where required. The refinement of the details shows once again that, even after decades of intensive philatelic research and collecting, remarkable new insights keep coming to light.
As with every new edition, we did a comprehensive analysis of the price developments. This process revealed distinct patterns. The Finland collection area, where we noted significant price increases spanning from the classic period to the year of 1945, underwent the most adjustments to price assessments. Particularly the First Day Covers (FDCs) of this area have seen remarkable increases and some values have more than doubled; for instance, the price quotation for the FDC with MiNo. 222 has increased from €250 to €400, while the FDC with MiNo. 228 has even jumped from €150 to €400.
