- The whole edition has been updated with editorial improvements. For the first time we were able to assign a price quotation to the 2004 re-issue of a Portuguese postal emblem postage stamp in cancelled condition. Regarding the Azores, we discovered three new variations of the ”King Louis“ postage stamps concerning the perforation as well as the overprint typeface. Several issues of these postage stamps later we had to remove two paper variations after close examination.
- The Spanish Postal System has lately been celebrating the Spanish gastronomy. Now we have subdivided the novelties into the two series “Protected Original Names“ and “Spain in 19 Dishes“ so as to make it easier to sort them. Special prints called “Pruebas de artista“ were issued on several stamp sheetlets. Though they cannot be used as postage, they are collected and traded. We added pertinent information to the issues in question. And last but not least we were able to complement the exact first days of vending machine stamps issued around the turn of the millennium based on our research findings.
- This latest edition features all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 3/2024.
