You will find editorial improvements throughout this edition. We supplemented the introductions to the collection areas by including their currencies, details on their joining of the Universal Postal Union as well as the MICHEL numbers of those issues that are currently valid postage stamps. This is our next step toward establishing Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man as main collection areas. Thus, Volume 14 of our Europe catalogue has become as independent as the Crown Dependencies are politically independent from Great Britain.
Guernsey surprised us by issuing a new stamp booklet of se-tenant prints after many years – the last one was from 2008. For better orientation, we have also included additional information regarding the withdrawal from circulation. Concerning the Isle of Man, we added several cross-references to old motifs. This will make it easier for collectors to find stamps with the same motifs. And we also adjusted the price quotations for tariff-coded stamps in all collection areas.
This volume contains all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 9/2025.
