All three countries featured in this catalogue show stable and solid price levels. Price corrections were required for Belgium and Luxembourg regarding issues from the 1950s. In Luxembourg, Grand Duke Henri abdicated after having reigned over the country for 25 years. From a philatelic viewpoint, his son Guillaume was welcomed as the new head of state with a novel postage stamp series.
In the Netherlands we find the opposite situation: by now the long-running postage series “King Willem-Alexander” has reached the issue bearing the year XII. In the Netherlands we also discovered a new variation of the phosphor overprint on MiNo. 2032. Newly complemented notes regarding imperforate and non-valid souvenir sheets will help collectors to maintain a clear overview of Belgian stamps.
