Our editorial improvements cover this whole edition. Regarding the Baltic States, we added the dates the Estonian kroon stamps, Latvian santimi issues and Lithuanian litas stamps were withdrawn from circulation directly next to the relevant issues. This lets collectors immediately verify the correct postal use. We also included several numbers of issue for stamps from Lithuania. And we have compiled a list of the various motifs of Lithuanian issues that were private orders.
Another editorial focus was on the reviewing and updating of price quotations. Finland introduced tariff-coded stamps as early as 1992, and inflation resulted in countless price increases for stamps in mint condition. We also adapted the appraisals of the tariff-coded stamps from the autonomous region of Åland. Estonian type variations of the First Republic and Central Lithuania have also enjoyed increases in value.
This edition features all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 8/2025.
