- Our editorial improvements cover the whole edition. Regarding Albania, our focus was on the special issues for mailing purposes. Here we are able to specify the exact sheet formats in numerous cases. We also cite the inscriptions in the header of the large number of overprint stamps issued during the first decades. This will make it much easier for collectors to identify issues. Concerning Bulgarian stamps, we list the current withdrawals from circulation on March 1st of this year for each issue this applies to. New information about forgeries will protect collectors from financial loss. In addition, we discovered five new perforation variations among Bulgarian issues.
- The revision and updating of price quotations was another focal point. We have registered price fluctuations regarding a particularly large number of Albanian stamps. Here the values have changed in both directions. Contemporary Albanian FDCs are currently particularly sought after by collectors. Issues from Greece also show some exciting fluctuations. The demand for stamps issued in low numbers and in cancelled condition has increased, and issues from Crete and Samos are becoming pricier as well.
