Our editorial improvements can be found throughout the entire edition. Regarding Old Bulgaria, we were able to include the latest research findings. Collectors should thus note the price differences between the two issues of the “Heraldic Lion” overprint from 1884/1885. Furthermore we added the date each stamp issued in Bulgaria was withdrawn from circulation. While doing this, the 2021 year of issue has also been taken into account. The same applies to the drachma stamps from Greece. We also added the relevant cross references for both wet-adhesive and self-adhesive stamps with identical motifs.
Another focus was on reviewing and updating the price quotations. In the collection area of Albania we found several price changes. For this edition, we paid particular attention to the “Hermes Head” issues from Greece. Numerous individual stamps show price increases. Collectors should also keep an eye on Crete and Epirus. Here, too, we were able to raise the price quotations.
