product description

Central Asia and South Caucasus 2024/2025 (O 9.3) E-Book

Content: Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Batum, Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Transcaucasia, Turkmenistan, Tuva, Uzbekistan.

Description: The new MICHEL Overseas Volume 9.3 Central Asia and South Caucasus contains all issues from the collection areas of Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Batumi, Nagorno-Karabakh, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Transcaucasia, Turkmenistan, Tuva and Uzbekistan.

This is the first edition featuring the collection area of Abkhazia. This autonomous republic, which is internationally recognized only by a few states, separated from Georgia after Georgia had become independent. Older issues have also been formally valid postage stamps for international mailing since 2018. This catalogue edition features all stamps issued by Abkhazia that have been available since 1993.

As with every new edition of a MICHEL catalogue, all descriptions and price quotations contained in the 2024/2025 MICHEL Central Asia and South Caucasus have been thoroughly revised and updated if necessary. Furthermore the Armenian stamps that were not officially issued are presented correctly in accordance with our most current system. This ensures that all collection areas are now up to date.

All novelties we became aware of prior to the editorial deadline have been included in this edition, so that, depending on the information available, novelties issued up to the year of 2024 have been taken into consideration.
